(KLZA)-- Enrollment for the Mound City School district is up four from the start of school in 2014. The report was presented to the Board of Education Wednesday evening. There are 261 students in Kindergarten through 12th grade and 18 Preschoolers at Mound City.
Superintendent Ken Eaton reported the HVAC system is working well and the footings have been poured for the new multi-purpose room at the school. Eaton said work on the north parking lot expansion as part of the multi-room addition will begin soon.
Business Educator and Tech Director Nichole Hux and High School Language Arts instructor Brian Messer presented information to the Board members on their curriculum areas and activities.
