(KAIR) -- A noted figure within Weston’s Historic District has died.
Sandy Miller passed away Monday at the age of 69 in Kansas City.
Miller was known for her influence to the district by being emeritus for the Weston Historical Museum, as well as Historical columnist for various regional newspapers.
She also played a role as an extra for the film “Truman,” as well as being the central figure for an episode of “If These Walls Could Talk” on HGTV.
Miller also served as Vice President for American Bank in Kansas City for several years and was former President of the Weston Chamber of Commerce.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th at two at the Vaughn Funeral Home in Weston.
