(KAIR) -- Winter weather leads to Weston, Missouri woman being injured in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 in Johnson County Thursday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened shortly before noon just south of 87th Street in Lenexa.
A 2001 Jeep SUV driven by 25-year-old Sarah Scott was southbound on I-35 when she lost control on the icy roadway and the vehicle struck the inside concrete barrier wall.
Scott was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital with possible injuries.
Another occupant, nine month old George Scott, was not injured.
The patrol says Sarah Scott was wearing a seatbelt while George was properly secured in a child seat.
