Mound City School Superintendent Ken Eaton was scheduled to deliver some preliminary budget numbers to the school board last week. However, Eaton told the Board, he had nothing to report. ( play audio :22 seconds )

In other business during the Mound City School Board meeting an executive session was held to discuss personnel. Following the closed session Board members approved continued employment for the 17 school district employees who are not teachers.
The Board also approved the purchase of a house located across the street northwest of the school, which will eventually be razed and the area used for expanded parking.
