(KLZA)-- A Louisiana man was transported by helicopter following a single-vehicle wreck early Monday morning in Atchison County, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 51-year-old Anthony Bryan suffered what were described as serious injuries when his northbound pickup traveled off the east side of I-29, began to skid and overturned several times before coming to rest on its wheels off the east side of the road. The wreck occurred about five miles south of Rock Port.
The Patrol says Bryan was wearing a safety device at the time of the wreck. He was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Atchison County Sheriff’s Department, Rock Port Fire and Rescue and the Missouri Department of Transportation at the scene.
