According to the Richardson County Sheriff’s office, the wreck was reported around 6:00 at the intersection of Highway 75 and 720 Road.
The sheriff’s office says a car driven by 36-year-old Jacob Malousek was making a turn at the intersection and was hit broadside by a semi truck driven by 55-year-old Jeffrey Streeter.
Malousek was transported to the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn and was later flown to a Lincoln hospital for further treatment. Streeter was not hurt.
Both Richardson and Nemaha County, Nebraska officials responded to the wreck, which was initially thought to have been in Nemaha County.
