Pawnee City School
(KLZA)-- The Pawnee City Board of Education has hired Darron Arlt to be the next Superintendent of the school district. Arlt will take over in Pawnee City July 1, replacing Stephen Grizzle who is leaving to be Superintendent at Fairbury.
Arlt is currently the Middle School Principal at Central City. Arlt has been at Central City since 2011, prior to that he was the Pre-K to 12th grade principal and activities director at Humphrey St. Francis. He also taught in Lexington, Seward and Fairbury.
Arlt will be paid $104,000 annually as superintendent at Pawnee City.
He was one of four finalists interviewed for the job.
