(KTNC)--Two people were injured when the ATV they were on flipped over on a rural Pawnee County road Saturday afternoon.
Pawnee County Chief Deputy Mike Rath says the ATV was traveling westbound on 719 Road, about a mile south of the Pawnee-Johnson County Line, when it hit a rut in the road, causing the vehicle to flip.
Two people on the ATV, 45-year-old Todd Pella of Sterling and a 5-year-old boy, were taken initially to the Pawnee County Hospital before being life-flighted to a Lincoln hospital where they were in stable condition.
Rath says the accident was reported at about 3:15 Saturday afternoon.
