(KTNC) - The two candidates seeking to become the next District One State Senator will be the featured guests at a meeting in Pawnee City. The Pawnee City Chapter of A-A-R-P will host a “meet and greet” coffee with Dan Watermeier and Jerry Joy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14th.
AARP’s Mark Intermill will discuss the Affordable Care Act and what it means to Nebraska seniors. Intermill is AARP’s legislative advocate in Nebraska and will moderate the forum, which is open to the public.
The meeting will be held in the Union Bank basement, at 514 G Street in Pawnee City.
