Visitation is Monday, July 1, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home in Axtell. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 2 at the Axtell United Methodist Church.

George was born on May 10, 1949 in Queens, New York to John and Marie (Saur) Lehning. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents & daughter, Sarah.
George married Ruth Parrish in 1989. She survives of the home.
