The Auburn Commercial Rehab Committee is recommending two more project be approved by the City Council when they meet next week.
The two projects would total $21,788 in mixed grant and loan funding.
In addition, the Rehab Committee is looking for applicants for a sixth round of funding for projects. Applications for the sixth round will be accepted through Noon, on March 30th.
Funds are starting to dwindle so if you are interested in the Commercial Rehab project grants and loans in Auburn you need to apply soon. The program provides financing assistance for the design and construction of new or renovated building facades; provides financing assistance for buildings including, but not limited to tuck pointing, new windows and such with priorities given to structural integrity.
There is approximately $81,000 left in rehab funds for this program.
