An ACCHS teen suffering from a brain tumor will receive several thousand dollars for expenses following a spontaneous fundraiser coordinated by his peers and instructors.
Sophomore Colton Banks learned the bad news less than a month ago and people sprung into action to help him out.
One of them was ACCHS FFA advisor Dean Swofford.

Those t-shirts, which were autographed by members of the high school basketball and wrestling teams, as well as the FFA chapter, raised in excess of 41 hundred dollars.
The other t-shirts that are being sold have made between a thousand and 15 hundred dollars for the family.
Swofford says there are several t-shirts available and they are continuing to take orders.
