McNemee Returns to HCC
Darlene McNemee is returning to Highland Community College as the payroll/insurance Clerk, a position she held previously before leaving to help her daughter in a new business.
She will begin her duties at the College on March 1.
Prior to working for the College, McNemee managed the Casey’s General Store in Highland. She also worked for Taylor Fish Farm before flooding ended that operation, and managed the American Legion in White Cloud.
Meanwhile, Audrey Atkinson is the new office assistant at the Highland Community College Holton Center.
A native of Holton, Atkinson returned home after graduating from Vassar College in New York. She had been working with the Kansas Department of Labor as a Program Specialist before starting her new duties with the College on Monday.
In addition to her work with the Department of Labor, Atkinson worked for the Vassar College library and the Campus Life Office. She was also an Administrative Assistant in the Consumer Assistance Division of the State of Kansas Insurance Department and the Front Office Coordinator for Express Employment Professionals in Topeka.
