Johnson-Brock Boys Qualify For State Tournament

The Johnson-Brock Eagles have qualified for the Class C2 Nebraska Boys Basketball State Tournament for the second consecutive year.  the Eagles improved to 19-8 on the season defeating fifth ranked Johnson County Central 46-37 Tuesday night in the District Final.
Kale Wolken led the Eagles with 19 points in the game.  Nick Behrends scored 8 and Dustin Niedermeyer and Kyler Jones added six each for Johnson-Brock.
JCC was led by Nate Kuhl with 13 points and Justin Damme added 11 more.  Senior Zach Kaster scored 7 points.  The Thunderbirds finish the season 22-3.

Coach Krenk also had high praise for Kale Wolken who hit three triples in teh game.  ( play audio  :29 seconds )
