Following his recovery at the Holton Community Hospital, where he's been a patient since late last week, State Representative Trent LeDoux is on his way home.
That follows LeDoux suffering from a flare up of acute pancreatitis.
When attempting to reach LeDoux in his hospital room shortly after 10:00 Tuesday morning, we were told he had just left.
The 38-year-old LeDoux earlier told the Topeka Capital Journal he drove himself to the hospital Friday night, and was eventually diagnosed with the acute pancreatitis, which LeDoux called “very painful.”
LeDoux earlier this month filed to retain his 50th District Kansas House seat, to which he was appointed last May to fill the unexpired term of the late Representative Rocky Fund, of Hoyt.
LeDoux is challenged in his election bid by fellow Republican Dan Brenner, a Holton businessman.
