Husker Women Snap 3-Game Skid

  LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ Jordan Hooper had 19 points, 18 rebounds
and two blocks to lead Number 16 Nebraska to a 68-59 victory
against Wisconsin on Sunday.

     Emily Cady scored 13 points and Lindsey Moore and Kaitlyn Burke
11 each for the Cornhuskers (20-6, 9-5 Big Ten), who snapped a
three-game losing streak.

     Nebraska shot 51.7 percent (15 of 29) in the first half and
outscored Wisconsin 19-4 during the last seven minutes to take a
42-24 lead at the break in Lincoln. Cady had seven points and Burke
five during the surge, and the Cornhuskers increased the lead to 26
points in the second half.
