The Jefferson County North Chargers and Lady Chargers both came away with wins Friday night in Troy in DVL play.
The first game saw JCN race to a 13-1 lead after the first quarter on their way to a 61-16 road win. 16 points each for Jordan and Jacee Kramer paced the Lady Chargers and Bank of Atchison "Player of the Game" Kate Brickell added two 3 point shots in the second quarter to compliment another strong outing for her at the point.
The boys took a 15 point lead into halftime, punctuated by a half-court plus shot at the buzzer by Bank of Atchison "Player of the Game" James Priest. But the big lead did not last long as Troy cut the Charger lead to 2 with 3:11 left in the third quarter. Senior Dalton Minor scored 10 of his game-high 22 in the fourth quarter, securing a 65-47 JCN win. Collin Jasper led the Trojans with 13.
