It may be winter, but the city of Seneca is preparing for summer.
The Seneca City Council Wednesday evening hired the Aquatic Center staff for the 2012 season.
David Hutfles will serve as the pool manager.
Stefan Ranieri and Melissa Reager will serve as assistant managers.
The council also approved hiring Dane Brinker and Tegan Seitz as summer laborers for the 2012 season.
In other business the council approved having Ranson Financial of Wichita perform a water rate analysis to determine the actual cost of the water that the city supplies to its residents.
The analysis will not cost the city.
Ranson Financial has a contract with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to provide one year of free service to cities.
