Interviews have been set with five candidates vying to become the new superintendent of Prairie Hills USD 113.
The candidates were recommended to the USD 113 school board by a screening committee of the Kansas Association of School Boards, who was hired to assist the district in the search process.
During a special school board meeting Friday evening, the board set interviews with the five candidates for Tuesday, February 7th through Friday, February 10th and next Monday, February 13th.
The names of the candidates haven’t been released at this time.
Each candidate will spend the day in the district. They will tour the district’s schools prior to having dinner with the board and being interviewed.
Current superintendent, Dennis Stones,is retiring at the end of the current school year.
