(KAIR)--The man charged in connection with the vehicular assault of a Leavenworth County Sheriff's deputy is bound over for trial.
The Leavenworth Times reports it happened Friday in Leavenworth County District Court, when 32-year-old Shanenon Kagen was bound over.
He's charged with aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer in connection with an incident that happened in July of last year in the parking lost of the Justice Center.
The deputy, in courtroom testimony earlier this month, said he was standing in the parking lot, talking to the driver of another vehicle, when Kagen allegedly pushed him with the vehicle he was driving.
Arraignment in the case is set for July 29th.
