(KLZA)-- MOUND CITY, Mo. - Route 111 in Holt County, Missouri reopened Thursday after being closed for a bridge deck replacement project, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The road closed at the bridge over Kimsey Creek on Monday, March 2, 2015. Contractors opened the road to all traffic at approximately 1:30 p.m. Thursday. MoDOT appreciates the patience of motorists during this necessary road closure.
As part of the same contract, crews have been working on a bridge deck replacement project on U.S. Hwy 59 over Squaw Creek. That road closed on March 9, 2015, and the contractor hopes to be able to open it to all traffic next week, weather permitting.
