Holton Wildcats golf team continues their success this spring season as they took home another tournament title this time winning the Hiawatha Invitational. Wildcats took the top spot with individuals earning the first, second and third place, with an eighth place finisher, too. Kellen Brandt, finished first, Tavin Dugan, second and Zach Fate, third, while Kenton Tegethoff, notched an eighth place finish.
Finishing in second place and enjoying four individual top 10 performances was Maur Hill Mount Academy. The Junior Ravens highest performer of the day took home fifth place, which was Brock Hanf. Sam Cooney, Craig West and Mark McDermed took home seventh, ninth and tenth, respectively for the Junior Ravens, also.
Sabetha finished third as team in the Hiawatha Invitational, while having one golfer finish in the top 10; Nolan Keim finished sixth for the Bluejays. Rounding out the rest of team performances was Falls City in fourth, Horton in fifth and Hiawatha finishing sixth. Horton was the only team of those three that saw golfer finish in the top 10 individuals, that being McKennzi Knudson who finished fourth on the day.
