Five months to the date of the elevator explosion in Atchison that took six lives, Bartlett Grain is ready to rebuild.

The company plans to submit a professional services proposal for plan review and inspection at Monday afternoon’s Atchison City Commission meeting at 4:30.

 In other business, commissioners will be assigned to various boards and commissions around the city.

 Commissioners will also look to adopt an ordinance to require downspout disconnection to various homes around the city as part of the KDHE mandated combined sewer overflow issue.

 The city and Atchison County will have another joint meeting at five April 30th at the Exchange Bank Board Room.
