Soybean School
01/18/2017
Kansas State University’s agronomy is bringing the Soybean Production School to Highland on Friday, January 27.

It is offered to provide in-depth training targeted for soybean producers and key-stakeholders. Northeast Kansas has  some of the highest yield producing fields in Kansas and all soybean growers of the area and even those from neighboring states are invited to attend.

This program will feature various K-State speakers that will share information on: Planting Management; High yielding management factors; Nutrient and Soil Fertility Management; Weed Control Strategies; Disease Management; and Insect Management.

There is no cost to attend but a registration by January 20 will help in planning. This will be hosted at the Highland Community Building just north and west of the college and begins at 9 a.m. and concludes by early afternoon. Do contact any Kansas Extension office to make a reservation.
