(MSC News)--A Holton woman is facing charges in connection with the death of her child.
WIBW-TV reports 32-year-old Alicia Whipple-Decker was arrested on a Jackson County District Court warrant for 1st degree murder.
County Sheriff Tim Morse tells the TV station Whipple-Decker's baby was 15-days old at the time of death in late November of last year.
Whipple-Decker remains jailed in Jackson County, where she was booked into custody October 7th. Her bond is set at $100,000.
The investigation is continuing.
Morse has not yet disclosed details regarding how the child died.
