(KLZA)-- The Pawnee City Council has approved going with a local bank for the interim financing for the Pawnee City Assisted Living Facility.
During Monday nights Council meeting The State Bank of Table Rock was selected to work with the City on the more than $3-million project. After an initial 3.5% interst proposal, the bank came back with a 3% rate. Ameritas had offered a rate of 2.25 – 2.75% interest.
USDA Rural Development is providing a combination of grant monies and loans for the facility, but another lender is used for the initial costs.
The plans are to have everything ready to begin the project in December.
