Marshall Co Roadway Work Starts Monday
07/22/2016

(KMZA)--Motorists take note: a pavement resurfacing project will begin Monday on a 3-mile stretch of K-9, from the Washington/Marshall County line to the U.S. Highway 77 junction, as well as a 13-mile portion of U.S. Highway 77, from the west K-9 junction to the south Marysville city limits.

Beginning at 8:00 Monday morning, traffic will be reduced to one lane, with motorists to be directed through the work zone by a pilot car and flagger operation.

Delays of up to 15-minutes are possible, and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible.

Crews will first complete the work on U.S. Highway 77 and then move to K-9.

Hall Brothers, Inc., of Marysville, is the primary contractor for the $2.6 million project.
Work is expected to wrap up in late September.
