(MSC News)--A Kansas City man has admitted guilt for his involvement in five bank robberies, including one in the local area, serving as the driver of the getaway car in each of the crimes.
35-year-old Dale Williamson pleaded guilty Thursday to five counts of bank robbery, admitting his role in each incident, including the May, 2014 robbery of the Commerce Bank on Frederick Avenue in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
According to the office of U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom, sentencing is set for July 6th, with Williamson likely to spend nearly 5-years in federal prison.
