Joanna Jean Roberts, 86, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, after a short stay at Maple Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hiawatha, Kansas.

She was born on May 27, 1938, in Horton, Kansas the daughter of Elmo and Mildred Tulk Mink. Tootie was a homemaker and was a daycare provider operating Tootie's Day Care in Horton. On June 28, 1958, she married George Roberts in Hiawatha, Kansas, they were married for over 66 years. Tootie enjoyed, reading, playing bingo, shopping but especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandkids and great grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, George Roberts of the home, a son, Donnie Roberts (Alyssa) of Horton, Kansas, two daughters, Diane Tadlock (Wayne) and Roberta Cairo (Michael) both of Horton, Kansas, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Tootie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Jane Labes and a brother, Jerry Mink.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends from 9:30 until service time.
