Kathie Lorraine Lee, 72, formerly of Atchison, KS passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, at the Maple Heights Nursing Home, Hiawatha, KS.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, Feb. 8th, 2025, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Jacob Dandy officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home. Kathie L. Moore was born on July 20, 1952, in Biloxi, MS the daughter of Billy E. and Beverly G. (Morgan) Moore. She graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph, MO in 1970.

Kathie worked as a certified nurses aid for nursing homes and home health for many years. She was baptized at Trinity Episcopal Church, Atchison and was a former member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Atchison. Mrs. Lee was an avid animal lover.

Survivors include two sons Joshua P. Lee, and Jeremy (Lottie) Lee, both of Atchison, KS, two brothers William “Ken” Moore, and Shawn M. Moore, both of Springfield, MO, a sister Robin M. Urquhart, St. Joseph, MO, three grandchildren Isaac, Ison, Taylor (Halee), and two great grandchildren Everest, and Emmett. Her parents preceded her in death.
