Randy Lee Wittwer

Randy Lee Wittwer, 72, of Falls City was born on January 4, 1953, in Sabetha, Kansas to Kenneth and Marion (Flott) Wittwer.  He was raised in the Honey Creek area where he attended grade school and attended Zion Church in rural Dawson.  Randy then attended Dawson-Verdon High School and graduated with the class of 1971.  After graduating, Randy attended Highland Community College for a year studying to be a lawyer.  On April 26, 1975, Randy was united in marriage to Pamela Ramer at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in rural Verdon, Nebraska.  To this union two sons, Timothy and Andrew, were born.  Randy was a truck driver for Keim Trucking in Sabetha, Kansas for many years until retirement.

Randy passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility having reached the earthly age of seventy-two years and seven days.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary Wittwer, his sister Jean Vonbergen, and brothers-in-law Doug Ramer and Larry Jackson.

Randy is survived by his loving wife Pam Wittwer of Falls City, sons: Tim Wittwer of Falls City, Andrew Wittwer and wife Mindy of Falls City, grandchildren: Waylon Wittwer of Falls City, Jocelyn O’Grady of Lincoln, Adaesha Hall of Falls City, sisters: Joann Hartter and husband Harvey of Fairview, KS; Janelle Jackson of Yuma, AZ; brothers-in-law: David Ramer and wife Kathy of Dorchester, NE; Richard Vonbergen of rural Dawson, NE; sister-in-law Christy Ramer of Crete, NE; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date with inurnment at the St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery in rural Verdon, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First United Methodist Church in Falls City or the Alzheimer’s Association of Nebraska.
