Gary R. Maddox, age 76 of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn.

Survivors include his wife Pat; sons and daughters-in-law Jeff and Carol of Nebraska City, Robb and Jana of Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law Jodi and Jon Genthe of Lincoln; grandchildren Nick, Sydney, Tara (Dylan), Jadyn, Braydon, and Braxton; siblings Carol Simmons of Nemaha, Doris (Jerry)Barnard of Lincoln, Mary Davis of Shubert, Alice (Gary) Alexander of Auburn, Pat (Don) Wamsley of Nemaha, Kenny (Tamara) Maddox of Madrid; sisters-in-law Diane Maddox of Nebraska City, Gerri Maddox of Shubert; brother-in-law Terry Reeves of Peru; many, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be Saturday, December 14, 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will be at Trinity (Stutheit) Cemetery south of Johnson. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church.
