Marty Ray Kenworthy, 51, of Atchison, KS passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 20th, 2024, in Iowa.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, Oct. 26th, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Russ Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Effingham, KS. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to help with final expenses and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Marty was born on November 4, 1972, in Holton, KS the son of Leon and Connie (Stalder) Kenworthy. He graduated from Atchison High School in 1992. Marty was an over-the-road truck driver. He presently was working for the Keane Thummel Trucking Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing, camping, and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He was married to Kristina L. Siard on July 5, 1997. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include his son Jacob Kenworthy and Tara Coffelt, Atchison, KS, a daughter Kaitlynn Kenworthy and Tyler Studer, Kansas City, MO, his mother Connie Mercer, Atchison, KS., two brothers Tony Kenworthy, Des Moines, IA and Robbie Kenworthy, Atchison, KS, two grandchildren Dawson Kenworthy and Stella Studer and his mother-in-law Sandra Faudere, Atchison, KS. His father, and a nephew Max Kenworthy preceded him in death.
