David L. Madere, 53, of Horton, Kansas passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at his home in Horton, Kansas.

He was born on January 18, 1969 in Horton, Kansas the son of David Madere and Linda Reeves. David graduated from Horton High School in 1987 with an impressive football career that he took into a brief collage stint. He was an amazing and stubborn man who had a lot of hard love for friends and family. David- real passion was coaching his kids in football and basketball.

Survivors include a daughter, Harley Madere (Jarred Kahbeah); two sons, Thad Madere (Isabel Dishman) and Gunnar Madere; three grandchildren, Kai, Kingston and Khalil; his mother, Linda (Reeves) Messer; two brothers, Dustin Madere and Dennis Madere (Julie); sisters, Danielle Vaughn (John) and Brittany Messer; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, David Madere Jr.

Memorial services will be at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the David Madere memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
