Carole Joanne (Whitney) Brindley, 83, of Falls City, Nebraska was born January 18, 1939, in Dawson, Nebraska to Guy and Veronica Faye (Watton) Whitney.  She was raised with her family in Dawson, Nebraska and attended school there graduating from Dawson High School with the class of 1955.  Carole was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in 1939 and later confirmed in 1955 by Bishop Kucera in Lincoln, Nebraska.  On December 27, 1957, Carole was united in marriage to Harry Brindley in Lincoln, Nebraska.  To this union five children, Patrick, Michelle, Kathleen, Jennifer and John were raised.  Carole received her nursing degree later in life and she worked for many years as a nurse for various nursing agencies in California.

Carole passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the Falls City Care Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of eighty-three years, four months, thirteen days.  She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Michelle Dixon.  She is survived by her loving children: Patrick Brindley of Upland, CA; Kathleen Leighton and husband Dr. Tom of Temecula, CA; Jennifer Saedi and husband Darryl of Eastvale, CA; John Brindley and wife Heather of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren: Nathan and Noah Saedi of Eastvale, CA; Andrew and Olivia Leighton of Temecula, CA; Joshua Casner of Upland, CA; Kyle Brindley of Sacramento, CA; great-granddaughter Maylee Casner of Upland, CA; sisters: Elaine Jarvis and husband Jerry of Colorado Springs, CO; Jean Swink and husband Don of Camano Island, WA; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Carole’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the Assembly of God Church in Falls City, Nebraska with Pastor Tim Boatright officiating.

Private family inurnment will follow services at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Dawson, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
