Dennis Beyer

Dennis Joe Beyer, 64, of rural Hiawatha, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2022.

He was born on July 8, 1957 in Sabetha, Kansas, the son of Charles and JoAnn Keim Beyer. Dennis graduated from Central High School in 1975 and then attended Missouri Western. He was an over the road truck driver, most recently for Keim Trucking. Dennis enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren in his spare time. On September 9, 1979 he married Sue Salverson at the Everest Zion Lutheran Church, they were married for over forty two years.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Beyer of the home; two daughters, Kristin Beyer of Horton, Kansas and Stefanie (Jared) Wilson of rural Hiawatha, Kansas; son, Marc (Erin) Beyer of rural Hiawatha, Kansas; five grandchildren, Sam, Maggie, Allie, Eli, Emmerson and one on the way; sister, Mary Bonkoski of Marceline, Missouri; three brothers, Mike Beyer of Blue Springs, Missouri, Doug Beyer of Topeka, Kansas and Alan Beyer of Shawnee, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant children, Scott Michael, Shawn Kevin and Natalie Renee.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. A private family burial will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
