Billie Mackey, 57, of Dawson, NE, passed away June 18, 2022 at Omaha, NE. She was born August 13, 1964 at Falls City to Bill and Betty (Duerfeldt) Hersh.

She married Danny Lundy on May 31, 1988 at Sycamore Springs, KS and they were later divorced. She then married Steve Mackey on January 14, 2000 at Falls City

Billie was raised at Falls City and attended Falls City High School. Following her schooling she worked doing in home healthcare and then became employed at Smart Chicken at Tecumseh, NE and then for Subway at Falls City. Her final job was that of a caretaker for the mentally disabled. She enjoyed crafting with wood.

Billie is survived by her husband, Steve of Dawson, daughters, Heather Johnson and her husband Justin of Nemaha, NE, Hollie Brezinka and her husband Adam of Big Lake, MN, Chelsey Lundy of Auburn, sisters, Carol King and her husband Jim of Omaha, Donna Simpson and her husband John of Falls City and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Danny “Trea” Lundy.

Billie has been cremated and the family will have services at a later date.
