Larry Dean Anderson, 76, of Topeka, KS passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at his home. He was born September 3, 1945 in Holton, KS, the son of Charles W. and Lucille Carpenter Anderson. 

He graduated from Denison High School in 1964. Larry was career military beginning with the Army National Guard in 1964. He was active duty United States Army from 1968 to 1977 and later served again in the National Guard, retiring in 2005 as E-7 Sergeant First Class. He also worked for PTMW in Topeka from 1998 – 2013.

 Larry was married to Virginia Ann Adams July 12, 1968 at the Circleville Christian Church in Circleville, Kansas. She survives of the home. He is also survived by his daughters; Lori Bailey, Tammy Pummill (Ronnie) and Stephanie Hiser (Derek) all of Topeka, KS; his son, Robert Anderson of Topeka, KS; his sisters, Jean Bauerle of Vassar, KS and Charlene Anderson of Kansas; his grandchildren, Jae Kennedy (Ronnie), Tarren Asuncion, LeToni Anderson, Kayla Anderson, Kris Wolfe, Kelsey Wolfe, Brianna Jones, Mason Hiser, Jaelynn Hiser and Whitney Harvey; great-grandchildren, Onaliza Anderson, Jason Tibbits, Kamle Harvey, Everleigh Anderson and Bailey Asuncion. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Asuncion, his sister, Frances Boyce and his brother, Gary Anderson.

 Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Havensville Cemetery. He will lie in state beginning Friday afternoon at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
