Paschual “Andy” Andrew Robertson, 53 of Holton, KS passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was born May 4, 1968 in Carlsbad, New Mexico the son of Samuel Jr. and Reba Nell (Thacker) Robertson. He graduated from Lubbock Monterrey High School in 1986.

On June 25, 1994 Andy was united in marriage to Mona Lynn Tapp at the Lenexa Church of Christ in Lenexa, KS They shared over 27 years of marriage. To this union they shared 4 children; Lori, James, Katie and Rebecca.

Andy worked for Albertson Grocery Store in Lubbock, TX as a customer service manager for over 10 years. Andy for the past 10 years has been employed for BNSF Railroad as a mechanical carman. Andy was a life long member of the Church of Christ and a current member of the 17th Street Church of Christ in Topeka. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. Andy loved reading books, especially world war history and old westerns. Andy saw himself as a cowboy and he loved the landscape of southwest. Most of all, Andy was a loving husband and father where he taught his family how to love God and to love one another. They will continue on those life lessons in all of their daily lives forever…

Andy is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Reba Robertson.

Andy is survived by his wife Mona of the home; 4 children, Lori Nell Robertson of Holton, KS, James Andrew Robertson of Lawrenceville, GA, Katie Lynn Robertson of Loganville, GA and Rebecca Leigh Robertson of Holton, KS; granddaughter, Caitlin E. Cook-Robertson of Holton, KS; sister, Carrie A. Hurd (Jeff) of West Virginia; and a brother, Samuel Robertson III (Gina) of Albuquerque, NM.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 P.M. Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. Andy will be cremated after the service and a private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Andy will lie-in-state Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. He will also lie-in-state Sunday from 10 A.M. – 2 P.M. until the family will greet friends 2-4 P.M. Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS.
