Jacob “Junior” Kremer

Jacob “Junior” L. Kremer, 83, of Centralia, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. 

Jacob was born October 4, 1936 to the late Jacob K. and Bertha Dalsing Kremer in Seneca, Kansas. He graduated the 8th Grade from Sts. Peter and Paul School. He went to work for Suther’s Construction where he was employed for 35years; he also worked for Clem Wempe farming for almost a decade. 

Jacob married to Georgia Forgy on July 26, 1980; the couple later separated.  However, even after the separation, he remained close to the family.  He always enjoyed attending their family functions. 

Jacob was a life-long member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. Jacob always put his beloved dogs foremost in his life, they were his lifelong companions. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. 

Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by six sisters, Dorothy Stamper, Dolores Hunter, Rita King, Helen Broxterman, Barbara Kay Kremer, Mary Ann Chandlee; a brother, Arthur Kremer.

Jacob is survived by a step children, Lonnie Forgy of Onaga; Cena Iverson of Lee Summit, Missouri and Linda Swanson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; his good friend, Deb Morris of Centralia; and many nieces and nephews. 

Jacob will lie in state at Lauer Funeral Home on Friday, July 31st for public viewing.

A rosary will be prayed on Saturday, August 1st at 9:30 AM prior to the Funeral Mass at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Arul Carasala at 10AM.  Burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery. 

Memorials may be left in his memory to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
