Wilma " Jean" Hamel, of Marysville, formerly of Horton, died Friday, October 11 at the age of 97.

Survivors include three sons, Richard, Gerald and David; a daughter, Candace Hamel; and a sister, Priscilla " Pat" Sumearll.

The funeral service for Jean Hamel will be Thursday, October 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 until service time. Burial will be at the Horton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Horton United Methodist Church and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
