Larry E. Craig, 71 years of age, of Wymore passed away at the Crestview Nursing home in Seneca, KS Sunday morning, June 23, 2019. He was born on September 12, 1947 in Odell, NE to Enis “Slim” and Thelma (Creek) Craig. He lived in Wymore most of his life and in Diller for about 25 years. Larry served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator, truck driver, and law enforcement officer. Larry enjoyed deer hunting, repairing small engines, gardening, and his pets. He was especially proud of his service in the Navy.

Survivors include daughters Kimberly Kostman and husband Craig, and Amanda Brumback and husband Zack, all of Sabetha, KS; 4 grandsons; sister Betty Jo Stevens and husband Sam of Beatrice; and longtime companion Kathleen Ullman of Wymore. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Marion “Jack” Craig; and sister Dorothy Ralston.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Wymore Cemetery with military graveside services provided by the U.S. Navy and the Wymore American Legion. There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation has already taken place. A memorial has been established to the Wymore American Legion with the funeral home in charge.
