Anna "Pa-Da-Sen" Paulette Royal, 49, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her home in Lawrence, Kansas.

She was born on May 17, 1970 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Joe Clay and Leandra Gutierrez. Anna worked as a dental receptionist at the Haskell Health Center. She was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe and the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. On November 22, 1997 she married Anthony Michael Royal in Hiawatha, Kansas.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony Royal; mother, Leandra  Gutierrez of Lawrence, Kansas; father, Joe Clay of Shawnee, Oklahoma; son, Cayden Storm Royal of Lawrence, Kansas; daughter, Taylor Leann Royal of Lawrence, Kansas; four brothers, James Alfred Blalock Jr. of Lawrence, Kansas, Joe Clay, Chad Clay and Elliott Clay all of Shawnee, Oklahoma; four sisters, Janelle Elaine Blalock of Lawrence, Kansas, Tonja Taylor, Michelle Jones and Jordan Hunke all of Oklahoma; twelve nephews and seven nieces and three great nieces Native American Church

Services will be at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation where visitation will start at 2:00 P.M.
