Angela Katherine Volz, 97, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Horton Community Hospital.

She was born on July 19, 1921 in Fidelity, Kansas the daughter of Frank and Evelyn Schuetz Meyer. Angela worked for Gockel's Grocery and the Dress Rack before retiring. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

 On April 9, 1940 she married Clifford J. Volz in Mercier, Kansas. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2011.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Rottinghaus of Shawnee, Kansas; son, Terry Volz of Topeka, Kansas; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the St. Leo's Catholic Church in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time a the church. Burial will be at the St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery.
