Mark Gerald Heideman, 64, of Corning, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home.

Mark was born in Seneca on December 10, 1954, to Gerald and Alice Mahoney Heideman. He grew up near Corning and attended Corning Grade School and graduated from Centralia High School in 1973. After graduating from high school, he went to work for the Railroad. Mark later painted water towers and helped on the construction of CR Industries in Seneca. He returned to the family farm, to farm, where he remained until his death.

On August 11, 1993 he married Joni Davis. They were later divorced.

Mark had many enjoyments --fishing, gardening, his cattle, playing cards, coffee, butchering hogs and giving his grandkids tractor rides and skid loader rides to whomever. He dearly loved his family and grandkids.

Mark is survived by his children, Rachel (Andrew) Moffett of Warner Robins, Georgia, Dean Heideman of Burchard, Nebraska, Renee (Aaron) Boeschling of Waterville and Kim (Ryland) Critchfield of Barnes. His parents Jerry and Alice Heideman of Seneca, siblings; Ken (Mary) Heideman of Corning, Ron (Teresa) Heideman of Topeka, Keith (Lana) Heideman of Wamego, Gary (Phyllis) Heideman of Corning, Carol (Tim) Sack of Seneca, Deb (Keith) Hermesch of Seneca, Marcia (Bob) Johnson) of Maple Hill, Craig (Deb) Heideman of Topeka, Chris Heideman of Wichita, Dennis (Janet) Heideman of Baileyville; and eight grandchildren.

Rosaries are 2 and 7 PM on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. A funeral service will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Corning on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:30 AM.

Memorials are to the Mark Heideman Memorial to be designated at a later date.
