Elda E. (Haack) Beethe, 96, of Elk Creek, passed away June 15, 2018 at the Johnson County Hospital in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  She was born to Julius and Emilie (Deubler) Haack on April 6, 1922 in Nemaha County, Nebraska.  

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Beethe of Elk Creek, sister, Doloris Bohling of Gretna, brother, Roger Haack of Beatrice, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Elda was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Beethe, sisters, Oleta Rinne, Doloma Rinne, Luetta Volker and brother, Lorraine Haack, brothers and sisters in law, Walter and Clara Heideman, Arnold and Lorene Gottula, Emmett Beethe, Allen Rinne, Marvin Rinne, Ted Bohling, Erwin Volker, Kathleen Haack and Dorothy Haack.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, rural Elk Creek, with Rev. Robert Schermbeck officiating.  

Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials may go to the family's choice.

Interment will be in the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Elk Creek, Nebraska.
