Louise L. Kneisel, 86, formerly of Wetmore, with her family by her side, went to be with her Lord, Monday, December 5, 2016, at Oakley Place in Topeka.

Louise was born and raised in Kismet and later served as Postmaster there 18 years prior to serving as Postmaster at Wetmore before retiring.

She married Harold Kneisel in 1979. They made Wetmore home and enjoyed their life together for 32 years, before his death in 2012.

Survivors include three daughters: Theresa Schroeder of Midwest City, OK, Carolyn (Mike) Chase of Plains, KS, and Joan (Rick) Mongold of Topeka, KS, 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren plus one on the way!

A Celebration of Louise’s life is planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, December 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church at Holton. Interment will be Saturday at Plains, KS.
