Floyd Sanner

Floyd H. Sanner, 85, of Hamlin, died Tuesday afternoon, August 16, 2016, at the Sabetha Manor where he had been a resident since 2014.

Floyd was born in Brown County, June 9, 1931, the eldest of two sons born to Virgil and Ethel Hollabaugh Sanner and had lived in the Hamlin-Morrill-Sabetha communities his entire life.  He attended country school near Sycamore Springs prior to graduating from Morrill High School.  

After the death of his parents, Floyd helped the area farmers with their needs on the farm.  He was a pleasant person to be around and never had a harsh word to say about anyone.

Survivors include a sister in law Barbara Sanner of Hamlin; two nephews: Gary Sanner and Kurt Sanner, both of Hamlin; and numerous cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Herbert.

Cremation is planned is with graveside inurnment planned at the Sabetha Cemetery, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.
