Clifford Raymond Lobb, 94, Nortonville, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at his daughter’s home in Topeka.  He was born June 26, 1922 in Oskaloosa the son of George and Willetta Mae Bell Lobb. He was a 1940 graduate of  Winchester High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving as a medic from 1942 to 1945. Clifford retired in 1988 after 17 years of service to Schmidt Building Supply, formerly Topeka Lumber Company. He had formerly worked for Wicks Lumber Company in Lawrence. He was a member and Elder of Nortonville/Pleasant Grove Christian Church.   He was a member of Davis- Gibson American Legion Post #387, Winchester, and a 60 year member of Masonic Lodge # 14 AF & AM, Oskaloosa. He was married to his wife of 64 years, Cora Belle Pontius on August 10, 1952 in Valley Falls, She survives him at home. He is also survived by three sons, Larry Dean Lobb, LeHigh, FL, Gary Lee Lobb (Susan Welsh) Perry, Jerry Dean (Cheryl) Lobb, Montgomery, AL, one daughter, Terrie Beth Lobb, Topeka, one brother, Richard “Dick” Lobb, Minneola, one sister, Donna Jean Wenger, Hiawatha, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, George Wilmer Lobb, and three sisters, Imogene Mae Berry, Mildred Hoecker, and Bessie Everett.

 Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 30, at Nortonville/Pleasant Grove Christian Church. Burial with American Legion Honors will be at McLouth Cemetery, McLouth. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday at Barnett Family Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
