Megan Hartley Successfully Completed Recertification

Nemaha Valley Community Hospital is proud to announce that Megan Hartley, Community Health Worker (CHW), has successfully completed her recertification through the Kansas Community Health Worker Coalition!

CHWs are essential in rural healthcare—bridging the gap between patients, families, and providers. Megan’s dedication helps our patients connect with resources, manage chronic conditions, and navigate the health care system with confidence.

“Megan is a true advocate for our patients and our community,” said Jane Sunderland, RN, BSN and Care Coordinator at NVCH. “Her recertification demonstrates her dedication to professional growth and the well-being of the individuals and families she serves.”

This recertification means Megan is staying up to date on the latest in community-based care, including best practices, engagement strategies, and evidence-based approaches—making a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
